Hello, I’m Hub Blanchette from Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. My journey into photography began in my 50s after a vacation in Mexico, where I was captivated by the beauty of humpback whales but lacked the equipment to capture their magnificence. Upon returning home, I dedicated myself to learning the art of photography, studying under some of the world’s top photographers and investing in the necessary gear to capture stunning images in any situation.

People often ask about my photography style. I believe a photographer’s style is ever-evolving, shaped by continuous learning and new techniques. As I gain experience and insight, my perspective on scenes and objects becomes more detailed and nuanced. My passion lies in creating images that evoke memories or remind you of places you once called home. My goal is to capture each scene in its best light, producing photographs that you would be proud to display in your home or office. I’ve curated some of my finest images, available as prints that can be framed and displayed to bring those memories to life. I will continue to expand my gallery as new opportunities arise.

This art gallery is a special project I’ve long wanted to pursue. Many people have asked where they can view my pictures and purchase prints. This site now allows me to showcase my special images in a unique forum and share them with those who appreciate this art form.
